The fashion industry took note of Courtney Crawford’s dazzling designs when he won the 1st prize at the Who’s Next Competition in 2006 for best emerging designers awarded by the Vogue Italia/Alta Roma Couture Society.
Crawford launched his first signature collection in September of 2006 with Harvey Nichols picking up his line. Now just two short years later his line of sophisticated and raucous shoes is sold globally.
Crawford has collaborated with the longstanding American fashion house of Morgane Le Fay for their very first shoe collection. The Missoni Pre-Spring and Spring/Summer 2007, and Calvin Klein Spring 2008 footwear were designed entirely by Crawford.
Young and inspired, Courtney Crawford’s fresh and versatile shoe collection has caught the eye of many amongst the fashion industry and has become a favorite with celebrity followers such as Kate Moss, Christina Aguilera and Madonna. Maria Carey has shown her devotion to this young designer by giving him the chance to design the shoes for her Emancipation of MIMI tour.
