Gigi Favela, an independent footwear brand, was launched in the Spring of 2007 by Monica Favela George, a former business writer with a sculptural and colour theory background.
Monica travels to Italy several times a year to select materials, design components, review prototypes and work side-by-side with the Italian technicians that take her designs from paper to three dimensional shoes.
Gigi Favela’s have been featured in top publications such as WWD Accessories Guide, Allure, InStyle, Lucky , Washington Post, and the New York Post and can be found in luxury boutiques across the country.
